Austin is one of the most dog-friendly cities in the United States, so there are tons of options on places to take your furry family member. This was a huge factor I considered when I was looking to relocate from Illinois. This is not an all-encompassing list, but these are places that I’ve personally been to with my pups and enjoyed. I will either add to this post as I come across new places or make a part two!

I love the brewery location, too, but the Barton Springs location has stolen my heart. Both are dog-friendly and the Barton Springs one has a more robust menu, as well.

DogHouse has a separate 10,000 square ft off-leash area in the front of our property that is used for adoptions, training, yappy hours, birthday parties & other general use. We also have a separate area for small dogs (less than 30 pounds) that is connected to the main park area The off-leash dog park area is the only area that is membership-only but day passes can be purchased for $7.00 per dog.

Culinary Dropout serves classic meals done right. With crowd favorites like our pretzel bites and provolone fondue, 36-hour pork ribs, and our famous fried chicken drizzled with honey you’ll want to taste everything. Thirsty? Wash it all down with an ice-cold craft beer or a killer house-made cocktail. They have plenty of outdoor seating under the covered patio and I constantly see puppers here.
