Sally and Kristi reached out about a Celebration S

Sally and Kristi reached out about a Celebration Session for their 8-year-old pit-mix, Scout, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I always hate hearing the reasons why people are wanting to do a Celebration Session, but I am glad when it’s clear people are making the most of the time left and cherishing it. Scout’s brother, Harper, joined in for a full-on family session and we got some great shots. Scout is a spunky gal and truly looked like she was smiling for her photos! And Harper might be almost 15 years old, but he sure doesn’t look or act it!

BJ was an 18-years-and-9-month-old Pomeranian mix

BJ was an 18-years-and-9-month-old Pomeranian mix who was very loved by his moms. His mamas described him as a sweetheart and reached out to me to capture some photos of him and their family before they had to say goodbye. Their other pup, Oliver, is a Pug mix and was a good sport while his brother got some extra attention. We got some shots of BJ by himself, with his family, as well as some candid shots doing a paw ink print and just enjoying his family. You will be very missed, BJ, that is very clear.
