I believe the photography process should be fun and relaxed. I strive to make it just that! Here is a general overview of the whole process after contacting me and booking your preferred date. More questions and answers can be found on the FAQ page, too.
1. The Preshoot Consultation
This is where I get to meet you face to face and most importantly hear all about your pet or even meet them! We’ll chat about your session details and I’ll answer any questions you may have. You can show me that spot on the wall you’re hoping to put a photo of your furfamily and anything else that you’re wanting to incorporate into your home decor. 
2. The Photo Session
The fun part! We will meet at the location of your choice (somewhere your pet is familiar and comfortable with – back yard, family member’s yard, etc.) for approximately an hour. We will work together to produce wonderful photos of your pet that will be treasured forever. I recommend bringing their favorite toys and treats to keep your pet’s attention while they strike their best model pose. And since I know how hard it is to wait and see your photos, I’ll post a preview in a few days from your session on the Shutter Hound Facebook page, so be sure to ‘like’ it!
3. The Online Gallery AND/OR In Home Viewing + Ordering Session
This is where you get to see your photos! I’ll select the very best photos from your session (at least 25), edit them to perfection, and send you an online gallery 1 – 2 weeks after your session takes place! You can send the gallery to friends and family and even mark your favorites if you need a couple days to decide what you want. Please note that only prints, canvases, metal products, and some gift items are available through the online gallery. Other items must be ordered directly through Shutter Hound Pet Photography with an in home viewing and ordering session. Prints and products ordered through the online gallery will be shipped to you via UPS ground.
Some products are only available through the in home viewing and ordering session. This is great, because I can help you with your order and make your selections. We’ll go through them together and narrow it down. I’ll have samples of the different products and will be there every step of the way to help you. Please make sure all decision makers in your family are present for the in home viewing and ordering session. All orders placed at the viewing and ordering session are final, due to the nature of the products, but I assure you that I will make sure you are satisfied and in love with all your products. Prints and products take about 1 – 2 weeks to be completed. If you’re in the area, I can deliver them to your home or, for an extra fee, you can have your items shipped directly to your doorstep. Please note that in home viewing and ordering sessions have a minimum order of $100.
